Today I made my first ever try with my new inflata Today I made my first ever try with my new inflatable kayak from @kayakangler.se / @nativesweden . First impression is that it is very stable, fast and all in all a very nice inflatable fishing kayak. Some modifications are needed for it to be ready for 08-abborren competition in a couple of weeks.
Back home from a windy "Årets kajakfiskare" event Back home from a windy "Årets kajakfiskare" event. Winds of up to 24 meters per second cut the first day short. On the second day I managed to catch some nice pike but I did not really find the perch which meant I came in 6th place in the end. Huge congrats to @crazzy_viking for winning the competition and to @tobbesvenssonkayakangler in second place and @stambaits in third. A huge thanks to @mannemaniac and @kajakfiskemagasinet.se who puts in a lot of effort and time to make these events so great. Also a big thanks to all the sponsors.

I almost forgot to tell you. During the competitio I almost forgot to tell you. During the competition last time I also caught a new zander PB. Nothing huge but I have not been fishing much zander before. I think it might be time to start though. This one really put up a good fight.
I am so happy to have won the Swedish kayak fishin I am so happy to have won the Swedish kayak fishing championship or SM i kajakfiske this past weekend! A dream come true and my first win so far. A slow last day with 4 hours without a strike turned around when I caught 5 pike in 20 minutes with a top fish of 88 cm. After that the fishing turned off again with another four hours without a strike. Sometimes you just need to keep on fishing and wait for that small window of opportunity.
